In The Name of God Amen This Thirteenth day of February in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred nynety & nyne I Anne Flexney of witney in the County of Oxon widow being aged in body but of sound & p'fecte memory thankes be given to Almighty God doe make this my last will & testament in manner & Forme Following Inprimis I give & bequeth my soule into the hands of God my Creator hopeing through the merits death & passion of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to receave p'don of all my sins & my body to the Earth From whence it came to be buried in decent manner at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named & as For the worldly goods w'ch God of his goodnes hath been pleased to bestowe uppon me I give & bequeath as Followeth Inprimis I give & bequeath unto my sonne Daniell Flexney the sume of Twenty pounds of Currant English money to be paid unto him by my Executor hereafter named within one month next after my decease Item I give & bequeath all my houshold goods now in the possession of my sonne Daniell Flexney unto him the said Daniell Flexney if I shall departe this life whilst I reside or dwell with him but if I shall departe this life when I shall reside or dwell with any other of my children my will is that those of my houshold goods w'ch are in his Custody or possession shall goe to that p'son with whome I shall reside or dwell with at the tyme of my death Item I give & bequeath unto my sonne in law William Sessions Five shillings of Currant English money to be paid unto him by my Executor hereafter named within one month next after my decease Item I give & bequeath unto my daughter Anne Sessions the sume of Five pounds of Currant English money to be paid unto her by my Executor hereafter named by a weekely payment of Twelve pence a weeke & soe weekely & in every weeke towards her mainetenance Untill the said sume of Five pounds shall be fully paid & that her receipte For the same shall be a good & sufficyent dischardge to my Executor Item I give & bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Collins the sume of Five pounds of Currant English money to be paid unto her by my Executor hereafter named within one month next after my decease & my will Farther is that my Executor hereafter named shall pay to the trustees of the Towne of witney the sume of Five pounds of Currant English money within Three monthes next after my decease (if the same shall be behinde & unpaid at time of my decease) it being soe much money that my daughter Collins borowed of the trustees of the said Towne & For which my sonne John standeth bound and indebted & which I promised him to see dischardged Item I give & bequeath unto my said Two daughters Anne Sessions & Sarah Collins all my wearing apparell to be Equally devided between them share & share alike Item I give & bequeath unto my sister Dorothy Dutton the sume of Forty shillings of Currant English money to be paid unto her by my Executor hereafter named by a weekely payment of Twelve pence a weeke & soe weekely & in every weeke untill the said Forty shillings shall be Fully paid All the rest of my goods Chattles & Cattle whatsoever unbequeathed in this my will I give & bequeath unto my sonne John Flexney whome I make whole & sole Executor of this my last will & testament Revokeing & makeing voide all Former willes by me made & this to be my last will & testament In witness whereof I I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day & yeare First above written Signed sealed published & declared to be the last will & testament of the The marke of said Anne Flexney in the presence X of: Richard Jordan Anne Flexney Matthew Rose William Haydon Probat' 27 Septembr' 1706 Coram Ven'li Viro Tho Stafford LL D're et D'ni Arch.
