[Will was copied at Somerset House] This is the last Will and Testament of me Adeline Boffin of May Villa, Number 61 Banbury Road in the City of Oxford, Spinster. I appoint my brother Alfred Boffin and my four sisters Jane King Bolton, Emily Munro, Edith Wild and Alice Timmis to be the Executors of this my Will. I give and bequeath to my four sisters in equal shares all the household furniture effects and articles of a domestic kind in and about my Dwelling house known as "May Villa", Number 61 Banbury Road aforesaid. I direct that my Executors shall as soon as convenient after my decease erect a stained glass Memorial Window to the memory of my late Father and Mother in the Wesleyan Memorial Chapel, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford. And all the rest residue and remainder of my property of every description which shall belong to me at the time of my decease I direct my Executors to sell and realise at such time or times as they shall consider it convenient to do so and after payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and Estate Duty Upon trust to pay the following legacies namely:- To my said Brother Alfred Boffin two hundred pounds. To each of my said four sister the sum of two hundred pounds . To each of the three eldest children of my said Brother Alfred Boffin namely:- May, Florence and Arnold the sum of two hundred pounds. To the two younger children of my said Brother Alfred Boffin namely:- Lucy and Bertie the sum of one hundred pounds each. To my Neice Edith Wild the sum of one hundred pounds in addition to the share hereinafter given to her in the residue of my estate. To my cousin Nellie Railton one hundred pounds. To my cousin Pollie Boffin twenty pounds. To my friend Sophia Sansom ten pounds. To my two maids Edith Treadwell and Florence Merry the sum of ten pounds each. And all the residue of my estate and property I direct my Executors to divide equally between the children of my said four sisters who shall be living at the date of my decease. And it is my Will and I direct that the income to arise from the several gifts of the residue of my estate to the children of my said Sisters during the minority of such children shall be paid to their respective mothers to be applied for the benefit of such infant children. And I hereby revoke all Wills and Testamentary depositions by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of February One thousand nine hundred and six. Signed by the said Adeline Boffin as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request in her sight and presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
