This is the last Will and Testament of me James Boffin of the City of Oxford,
Confectioner. I appoint my son in law Joseph Wild of Birkenhead, my son in law
James Joseph Timmis of Birkenhead aforesaid, Provision Merchant and my friend
William Bayliss of Banbury, Oxon, Draper Executors hereof. And I give and
bequeath to each of them the legacy or sum of twenty five pounds free of duty as
an acknowledgement of the trouble they will be put to in the execution of the
trusts hereof. I
give, devise, appoint and bequeath all the real and personal Estate over which
at the time of my decease I may have disposing power unto the said Joseph Wild,
James Joseph Timmis and William Bayliss their heirs, executors and
administrators respectively according to the respective natures thereof. Under
trust subject to the payment of my just debts, funeral, testamentary and
administration expenses (I have already provided for my Son Alfred and former
daughters Jane King Bolton and Adeline Boffin) for my three remaining children
namely Emily the wife of Reverend MacDonald Munro, Edith the wife of the said
Joseph Wild and Alice the wife of the said James Joseph Timmis equally share and
share alike for their own sole and separate uses absolutely. I empower my said
Trustees at their own discretion to delay converting into money any portions of
my Trust Estate in order to realise the same to the best possible advantage and
for such purpose to carry on my Businesses until they can advantageously dispose
of the same. And I expressly direct and empower my said Trustees to keep alive
all the Life Policies on the lives of _____ persons which may belong to me at
the time of my decease until such Life Policies should fall
in as I do not wish such Policies to be sold. I also empower my said Executors
to refer to arbitration any claims due to or from my Estate. And I hereby revoke
all former testamentary writings . As witness my hand this Third day of November

I hereby revoke the appointment of William Bayliss as an Executor and Trustee and also the gift to him contained in my said Will. And in all other respects I confirm my said Will.
