He wants to be buried in "Aston" and gives money to the church -- most probably Aston Rowant, where other Belsons lived and died at around the same time.
The names of his creditors are partly indecipherable.
The following details are believed to be true but should not be totally relied upon:

  • My body is to be buried In the churchyard of Aston.
  • I give12d to the high altar of Aston.
  • I give 2d to the mother church of Oxford.
  • I give the following to my wife Marget:
    • Two kine.
    • All her pots and pans and other household stuff that she brought with her to me.
    • Two hogs, one of the best and another of the other sort.
    • Two quarters of barley and one of wheat.
    • The best of her own white horses.
    • Another quarter of corn in the following year.
  • I give to my son John one butt of land in the ow'feld?, a quarter of barley, two platters, a coffer, a pot and a plough chain.
  • I give to my son Gregore my biggest pan, a white colt, one third part of the crop in the coming year, a plough chain, two platters and a diaper tablecloth
  • I give to my son Stephan a cow, one third part of the crop in the coming year, a pot, two platters, a plough chain, a basin and a sheet.
  • I give to my son Robert a featherbed. a ken'ynge?, the best sheet, a cott, one platter and the second-best pan.
  • I give to my daughter Maryon a harnest? girdle, a frying pan and an ale tub.
  • I give to my son Thomas a shodde? cart, two oxen and three horses
  • The rest of my goods are to be bestowed by my sons Thomas, Gregorie and Stephan for the wealth of my soul and all Christian souls.
