It appears that OHC also hold a Bond of Administration (not available here -- date taken from OHC Index), which would have been required because his named Executors were under 21. The job would probably have gone to the Overseers.
His wife's forename is not given in the will, but is (probably) known from other evidence.
The following details are believed to be true but should not be totally relied upon:

  • My body is to be buried in the churchyard of Tadmarton.
  • I give my father William Bloxham my gelding.
  • I give my mother Elizabeth Bloxham 20s.
  • I give all my household stuff to my beloved wife for life for her use, to bring up my two children.
    After her death, to my children equally divided.
  • I give my cow to my wife.
  • I give my best suit to my brother Tustian, and all the rest of my apparel to my children.
  • I give all the rest of my goods and money to my son Nathaniel and my daughter Rebeka, to be invested after my decease to raise portions for them, and I make them my Executors.
  • I entreat William Allen of Banbury and William Jarvis of Drayton to be overseers, and I give them 12d each.

In the name of God Amen I William Bloxham of
nether Tadmarton and sonn of William Bloxham in the
countie of Oxon Husbandman being sick in bodie
but of p'fect memorie Doe mak this my lasr will and
testament commiting my soule untoe the hands of
allmightie god my Saviour and redemer by home I
hope To have to be so saved and my bodie to be buri=
ed in the church yard of Tadmarton : and my worldly
goods I give in maner and forme as followeth'
Imprimus I give unto my xxxx father William Blox
ham my gealding : and I give unto my mother Elizabeth
Bloxham twentie shilings Item? all? my houshold stuf I give
unto my beloved wif during her natural lif to use and after
wards to my toe children equally devided betwixt them both
