  • I give my loving wife Mary and my only son Charles all my household goods and furniture now in and about my dwelling house in Grove for her own use and benefit.
  • I give my son Charles all my working tools for his own use and benefit.
  • All the residue of my goods and chattels, ready money and personal estate I give to my wife Mary and my son Charles equally divided.
  • I appoint my wife Mary and my son Charles joint Executrix and Executor ... I revoke all other wills.

In the name of God Amen the fifth day of September in the year of
our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five. I Charles Burson of Grove
in the County of Berks. Wheeler being infirm in body but of perfect mind memory
and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament on [manner?]
following (that is to say) First my Will is that my just Debts and Funeral
expenses be paid by my Executor & Executrix hereinafter named and as for my worldly
Estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me. I give and dispose
thereof in manner following (that is to say). I give devise and bequeath unto
my loving Wife Mary and my only son Charles all my Household Goods
and Household Furniture now being and which at the time of my decease shall be &
remain in and about my Dwelling House in Grove aforesaid for her own separate
Use and benefit. I give unto my Son Charles All my Working Tools of what
Sort soever the same be for his own use and benefit And all the rest
and residue of my Goods and Chattells ready money and personal Estate ___
whatsoever and wheresoever. I give and bequeath unto my said wife Mary and
my said son Charles equally to be divided between them share and share
alike and I Nominate and appoint my s'd Wife Mary and my s'd Son Charles
joint Executrix and Executor of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and
make void all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made ______
declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness
whereof I the s'd Charles Burson the s'd Testator have hereunto set my hand
& seal the day and year first above written
