... I Mary Busbie of Clifton ... Dadington ...spinstresse ... sick in bodie ... My body is to be buried in the parish Church of Deddington. For my executor I appoint my brother John Busbie. I give my mother Elizabeth Gilks, widow, £10. I give my brother Symon Busbie £10. I give my sister Christabell Busbie £20. I give my brother Richard Busbie £20. I give Symon Marshall, the son of Edward Marshall and of my sister Elizabeth, £5 to be paid at age 21. If he dies before 21, the £5 goes to my mother at the time of his death. I give my kinswoman Margery Prichet of Deddington, widow, 20s, and I give her son William Prichet 40s. I give my kinsfolks Mathew Busbie of Deddington and his wife and children, Symon Busbie of Deddington and his wife and children and William Busbie of Deddington and his wife and children 12d apiece. I give Edward Taylor of Deddington and his wife and children 12d apiece. I give the four daughters of my uncle Robert Busbie late of Barford 5s apiece. I give each of my brothers and sisters and also my sister Elizabeth, the wife of Edward Marshall, a bible of 10s price. I give the poor people of Deddington 20s to be invested forever, the interest to be distributed yearly at the discretion of the feoffees and overseers of the poor. I give the poor people of Clifton 10s to be given on my funeral day at the discretion of my executor where he thinks it most needful. I give my two godchildren 5s each. I give my mother my best sharne? of my e[ight?] sheep & my brother [Symon?] one and my brother Richard one and my sister Christabell one and William Prichet one and my brother John my executor the other three remaining of the eight sheep. My mother shall have the guiding and bestowing of all my apparel at her pleasure after my decease. I give John Eliot of Deddington 5s. My executor shall provide all the bibles given above and deliver them within one month after my decease. All the above sums of money are to be paid within 18 months after my decease except the £5 given to Simon Marshall.
