Transcriber's and Editor's Notes
Transcribed by a member of the former Rotherfield Peppard local history group.
Several legatees are probably his grandchildren, but he doesn't say so.
This is the Register copy, because the "Original" is mis-filed at FMP and unfindable. The editor wonders if there is a copying error because two Alice FREWENs are mentioned, his own daughter and a sister's daughter, but he doesn't mention any sister who married another Frewen. It seems possible that "sister's daughter" was a copying error, and should be "daughter's daughter". Users should be aware of the problem.
  Translated and paragraphed.
with some of the standard preamble and "legalese" removed.
