In the Name of God Amen I Jane Cuin of Grafton in the County of Oxon Spinster being of perfect & disposing Mind & Memory (thanks be to God) do make my last will & Testament in manner following ffirst I comend my Soul to God hoping to be saved through the merits death & Passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ & my Body I comitt to the Earth to be decently Buried at Bradwell in the County of Oxford at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter menc'oned but I desire to have Two large Gravestones sett up on which my ffather & mother & my sister & myself shall be menc'oned and as for my Worldly Estate I dispose thereof as follows Impr'is I Give to my Brother William Cuin all my Plate & all my Household Goods & Implements of Household Item I Give to my Uncle John Taylor with whom I live Two pounds Two Shillings Item I Give to my sister Elizabeth Burbridge my largest Gold Ring All the rest & residue of my Goods Chattles ready money & Credits not herein before disposed of (my debts & ffuneral expences being first discharged) I Give unto my said Brother William Cuin & to my half Brother John Burbridge & half Sisters Mary Lay Anne Day & Elizabeth Burbridge to be equally divided between them share & share alike as Tenants in Comon to be paid & delivered to them respectively at such time as my said Brother William Cuin will attain the age of Twenty one years & I do hereby appoint my said Uncle John Taylor Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seal the ffifth day of May in the year of our Lord 1749 Signed Sealed & Published as the last Will of the said Jane Cuin in the presence of us who subscribed as witnesses in her presence Jane Cuin (O) Christopher Yeatman Rob't Stevens | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
