In the Name of God Amen, the Eight and twentieth day of
November in the Nynth yeare of the Raigne of o’r Soveraigne
Lady Anne by the Grace of God of Greate Brittaine ffrannce
and Ireland Queene defender of the ffaith &c And in the yeare
of our Lord Christ one thousand Seaven hundred and Tenn
I Sarah Drinkwater of Church Enston in the County of Oxon
widow being in perfect health and Sound minde and memory (God
be praised) Doe make and ordaine this my Last will and
Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) ffirst
I Com’end my Soule into the hands of God that Gave itt
hopeing Assuredly that by the Infinite merritts of o’r blessed
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ he will Receive my Soule into
his Glory and place itt in the Company of his heavenly Angells
and blessed Saints And As Concerning my body I bequeath itt
to the Ground to be decently buryed In full Assureance
that hee will raise itt upp to Glory att the Last day and
Reunite itt to my Soule to Reigne with him for evermore
And for my wordly Estate I Give and Devise the Same as
ffolloweth (viz't)
Impr’is I Give and Devise unto my Grandson William Drinkwater
the Sum’e of Tenn pounds of Lawfull money of Greate
Brittaine
Item: I Give and Devise unto my Grandson John Drinkwater the Like
Sum’e of Tenn pounds And doe alsoe make ordaine constitute
and Appoynt him the Said John Drinkwater Sole Executor of
this my Last will and Testament And doe hereby Revoke
make null and voyd all fformer and other wills by me
made And doe Appoynt this onely to be my Said Last will
In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale
the day and yeare ffirst Abovewritten
