  • I wish to be buried in St Mary's church in Oxford.
  • I appoint my son[-in-law] Dr Robert Cocks as sole Executor, to whom I give all my goods, chattels and real and personal estate Upon Trust to divide all money due to me on arrears of my annuity left by my loving husband John Fulke, and any other money to which I have any title as his Executrix, equally between my four grandchildren (his daughters) Ann, Sarah, Mary and Dorothy Cocks.
  • I give £5 to my maid Sarah Powell for her faithful service to me.
  • I give all the rest of my estate both real and personal to my Executor to his own use ... I revoke all former wills.

In the Name of God Amen
I Sarah Fulke of New Woodstocke in the County of Oxon Widow being of
sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God doe make and ordain
this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that
is to say) Imprimis I desire to be buried in St Marys Church in Oxford
at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named. Item I doe hereby
nominate constitute and appoint my son Dr Rob't Cocks my sole Executor why "in-law"???
of this my last Will and Testament To whom I doe Give all my Goods
Chattells and Estate whatsoever both Reall and Personall upon the
severall Trusts following (that is to say) All money whatsoever that is
due to me upon arreares of my Annuity left me by my loving husband
John Fulke and whatever other money I have any Right or Tytle to
as Executrix to my said husband, In Trust for my four Grandchildren
Ann, Sarah, Mary and Dorothy daughters of the said Dr Robert Cocks
share and share alike, Item I give unto my Maid Sarah Powell the
sum'e of ffive pounds for her faithfull service to me. Item I give all
the rest of my Estate whatsoever both Reall and Personall unto my
said Executor to his only use and behoofe And I doe hereby revoke all
other and former Wills and Testaments by me made In Witnesse
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Twentieth day
of September Anno Domini 1718 Sarah Fulke ./. Signed sealed published
and declared by the said Sarah Fulke to be her last Will and Testament
in the presence of us and then subscribed by us as Witnesses in the
presence of the said Sarah Fulke -- Ann Hall Anne Driver Elizabeth Walker
