THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Of me Thomas Mobley of the Parish of Bloxham in the County of Oxford I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my wife Ann Mobley all my Copyhold premises with all the appurtenances thereto belonging and all my household furniture stock in trade plate linen book debts and all other my property of what nature or kind soever it may be for Ann my said wife to use occupy and enjoy for and during the term of her natural life and after the decease of my said wife I do hereby direct that all the property of what nature or kind soever it may or shall be equally divided amongst my child- -ren share and share alike hereby revoking all other former wills and declare this only as and for my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I here- -with set my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of March One thousand eight hundred and forty seven – Thomas Mobbley (seal) – Signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Mobley as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us and in the presence and sight of Each other – Caleb Charles – Charles Herbert ==================================== In the Prerogative Court of Canterbury In the Goods of Thomas Mobley deceased APPEARED PERSONALLY Charles Herbert of Bloxham in the County of Oxford Gentleman and made Oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Thomas Mobley late of Bloxham in the County of Oxford deceased bearing date the twenty eighth day of March in the year One thousand eight hundred and forty seven and now thereto annexed And he further made Oath that on the day of the oath of the said Will the said deceased only executed the same by signing his name thereto in the joint presence of him the deponent and of Caleb Charles the other subscribed witness there- to and that thereupon the Deponent and the said Caleb Charles attested and subscribed to the said Will in the presence of the said deceased and of each other in manner as now appears – Charles Herbert – on the ninth day of August 1854 the said Charles Herbert was duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit by virtue of the annexed Commission – before me James? Hodgson? Commisioner On the 15th August 1854 Admon with the Will annexed of the goods chattels and debits of Thomas Mobley otherwise Mobbley late of Bloxham in the County of Oxford deceased was granted to Richard Mobley one of the natural and lawful children of the said deceased and as such one of the Uni- -versal Legatees substituted in the said Will he having been first sworn by Com[missi]on duly to Administer – No Executor being named in the said Will and Ann Mobley widow the Relict of the said deceased and the Uni- -versal Legatee for life named in the said Will being dead |
