  • I revoke all former wills
  • I give to my dear wife Angelina, widow of the late Thomas Davis late of WOR Upton upon Severn, all my real and personal estate of every kind for and during her life or widowhood, she bringing up maintaining and educating our three children.
  • After her decease or remarriage the whole of my property is to be vested in an Executor to be named by my wife Angelina at her decease, Upon Trust for the benefit education and maintenance of my three children William Percy Nunney, Florence Laura and Rosa Clementina during their minority, and after the youngest reaches 21 then I give my dear son William Percy the house, barn, garden, yards etc in which I now live in the Hill High Street Burford, to him and his heirs etc.
  • If he should die before 21 or without making a will or without issue, then the property is to be sold and equally divided between my seven daughters, two by my wife Angelina, daughter of the late Mr William Baughan of Salford, and five by my former wife Ann, daughter of the late Mr Jos: Clark of Witney)
  • All my other property is to be sold and equally divided between the three children of my present wife Angelina and my five children by my former wife Ann.
  • I appoint my wife Angelina sole Executrix.
  • Should my wife die before all my children reach 21 she is to appoint an Executor for them.

I William Nunney Broker & Builder of Burford in the County of Oxford do hereby revoke all former Wills and other Testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. I give devise and bequeath unto my dear Wife Angelina Widow of the late Thomas Davis late of Upton upon Severn in the county of Worcester all and every my real and personal Estate of every kind and of every description and wheresoever situated to hold to her my said Wife Angelina Widow of the late Thomas Davis aforesaid for and during her natural life or Widowhood she out of the same bringing up maintaining and educating our three children and immediately after her decease or remarriage the whole of my said property to be vested in an Executor to be hereafter named by my said Wife Angelina at her decease Upon trust for the benefit education and maintainence of my three children William Percy Nunney Florence Laura and Rosa Clementina during their minority and after the youngest of the aforesaid children attaining his or her age of Twenty one years then I give and bequeath unto my dear Son William Percy Nunney the house barn garden yards and appertainences and all fixtures belonging to the same in which I now live in situated in the Hill High Street Burford Oxfordshire To hold the same unto him William Percy Nunney his heirs executors administrators and assigns (should he die before attaining the age of Twenty one years or die without making a Will or without leaving issue then the said property at Burford to be sold and equally divided between my seven Daughters two by my Wife Angelina Daughter of the late Mr. William Baughan of Salford Oxon and five by my former Wife Ann, Daughter of the late Mr. Jos: Clark of Witney Oxon) All my other property to be sold and equally divided between the three children of my present Wife, Angelina Widow of the late Thomas Davis aforesaid and my five children by my former Wife Ann Daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Clark aforesaid And I hereby appoint my said Wife Angelina Widow of the late Thomas Davis aforesaid whole and sole Executrix Should my Wife die before all my children attain the age of Twenty one years she to appoint an Executor for them In testimony whereof I have signed this my last Will at the end thereof on the First of April One thousand eight hundred and seventy two.

Signed by the said William Nunney the Testator on the day and in the year above mentioned in the prescence of us present at the same time and who in his prescence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witness.

(6 folios) Proved at Oxford the eighteenth day of October 1877 by the Oath of Angelina Davis, Widow, Relict of Thomas Davis and Daughter of William Baughan deceased (in the Will erroneously called the Wife of the Testator) the sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted.

The Testator William Nunney was late of Burford in the County of Oxford, Broker and Builder, and died on the Second day of September 1877, at Burford aforesaid.
