Notice that though he calls himself and his children RYMAN, in the Probate his sons are "RYMILL otherwise RYMAN".
He doesn't say whose daughter Mary is, but the fact that he mentions her immediately after his son John may be significant.

  • I give my messuage etc in the Horse Fair in Banbury where I dwell to my son Richard Ryman and his heirs etc forever.

In the Name of God Amen
I Richard Ryman of Banbury in the County of Oxford Baker
being of a sound mind memory and understanding do this fourth
day of April in the Twelfth year of the Reign of our Sovereigne
Lord George the Second over Great Britain and so forth and
in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred thirty and
nine make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner
and form following (that is to say) first of all I give and
bequeath unto my son John Ryman the sum of one hundred pounds
Also I give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Mary Ryman
The sum of Ten pounds Also I give and devise all that Messuage

or Tenement with the Appurtenances scituate standing and being
in Banbury aforesaid in the said County of Oxford in a place there called
the Horse ffair wherein I do inhabit and dwell unto my son Richard
Ryman and to his heirs and Assigns for ever also I give unto my
son Richard Ryman the sum of Seven hundred and ffifty pounds Also
I give unto my son Robert Ryman the Tanner the sum of nine
hundred and Twenty pounds Also I give unto my Daughter
Anne Ryman the sum of ffour hundred and Twenty pounds
Also I give unto my Grand-daughter Mary Spikely the sum
of sum of [sic] Ten pounds Also I give and bequeath unto my said
Daughter Anne Ryman the Bedsted Bed and Bedding Quilt
Blanketts and all things thereunto belonging that is in the Room
called the best Room and also my Tea Kettle and China Ware.
Also I Give unto my said Son Robert one ffeather Bed Bedsted
and Bedding and the Blanketts Pillows and other things thereunto
belonging which he shall make Choice of also all the rest and residue
of my household Goods and Implements of household I give and
bequeath unto my said Son Richard Ryman Also I give and bequeath
unto my Daughter Mary Spikely the sum of One hundred and
Twenty pounds Also I give a place in my Seat in the Church
unto my said Daughter Anne One other place I give unto my
said Son Richard and an other place in the said Seat I give unto
my said Son Robert Also I give all my Book Debts unto my said
Son Richard Ryman Also I desire that my Executors shall lay out
and Expend in and about my ffuneral what sum and sums of money
they shall think fit Also all the rest and Residue and surplus of my
personal Estate after my Debts Legacies and ffuneral expences are
paid and discharged I give and bequeth the same unto and
amongst all my said Children equally to be divided and I do hereby
constitute ordain and appoint my said Sons John Ryman and
Richard Ryman Executors of this my last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and
year first above written. Richard Ryman Signed Sealed published
and declared by the Testator in the Sight and Presence of us and our
names Subscribed as witnesses in his sight and presence Sarah Sayle
William Jackman Lyne Councer.

This Will was proved at London the Thirtieth day
of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred
thirty nine before the Worshipfull Robert Chapman of Laws [sic] Surrogate
to the Right Worshipfull John Bettesworth also Doctor of Laws Master
Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
lawfully constituted by the oath of John Rymill otherwise Ryman
and Richard Rymill otherwise Ryman the Sons and Executors
named in the said Will To whom Administration was Granted of
all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased
being first sworn duly to Administer.
