Tibbetts Silence In the Name of God Amen I Silence Tibbetts of Kingsutton in the County of Northampton Singlewoman being somewhat weak in body but of sound mind Memory and Understanding (Praised be God for the same) Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testam't in manner & form following (that is to say) First I com'it my body to the Earth to be decently Interred as near my Mother as may be And for that portion of Personal estate which God hath pleased to afford me I dispose thereof as followeth I give and bequeath unto my Nephew unto my Nephew Joseph Tibbetts five pounds I give unto my Nephew Jeremiah Tibbetts one Guinea I give unto my Nephew George Tibbetts two Guineas I give unto my Randell three Guineas I give unto my kinswoman Catherine Plowman three Guineas I give unto my kinsman Charles Taylor one Guinea I give unto my kinswoman Sarah Boughton five Pounds I give unto my kinswoman Ann Pollard ffive pounds I give unto my kinswoman Elizabeth fford One Guinea I give unto my kinswoman Sarah Buswell? one Guinea I give unto my kinswoman Ann Peckover five pounds And in case my s'd kinswoman Ann Peckover shall depart this life before her s'd legacy shall become due Then my Will is that Edmund Peckover her husband shall have the s'd Legacy of ffive pounds (if he her survive) Also I Give unto my s'd kinswoman Ann Peckover one Suit of my Cloaths both Outward & Inward All the rest of my Wearing Apparrell & sheets I give unto my Neice Mary Armitt the Elder I give unto George Armitt one Guinea I give unto Margarett Armitt a head peice? of Old Gold And my bed & bedding and the ffurniture of the room where I lye I give unto my Godaughter Elizabeth Holyfield two pounds I give unto Sarah Peckover one Guinea I give unto my late sister ffrances Tibbetts's three daughters Ann Katherine and ffrances and to their husbands a pair of the best Kidd Gloves each of them I give unto my near kindred and particular friends Gloves I give unto the poor of Kingsutton afores'd three pounds All which said Several Legacies & sums of money before bequeathed my will is shall be paid within Twelve Calendar Months next after my decease To be Spent at my Funeral Twelve Pounds All the rest and residue of my Goods chattells and Personal estate not hereinbefore bequeathed after my just Debts Legacies and ffuneral charges Paid I give & bequeath unto my s'd neice Mary Armitt whom I constitute and Appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made And do Declare this to be my last Will and Testament & no other In Witness whereof I the s'd Silence Tibbetts have to this my last Will and seal this Fourteenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and forty three Silence Silance Tibbetts Signed Sealed Published and Declared as and for the last Will & Testament of the Testatrix in the Presence of us Edward Kearby John Kemorick?
