In The name of God Amen
this Eleaventh Day of November in the Six and Twentieth yeare of
the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of
God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith
&c Annoq' D'ni 1674 I Mary Wood al's West of the Citty of Oxon
Spinster being weake in body but of good and perfect mind and
Memory (Thanks be given to Almighty God) Doe make and ordeine this my
last Will and Testament in manner and forme following Inprimis I Com'end
my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing to be saved by
the meritts death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer And my
body to the Earth from whence it was taken Decently to be buried in the parish
Church of St Maries in the Citty of Oxon according to the discretion of my
Exec hereafter named And as for such worldly Estate where with all it hath (ori'le sic)
pleased God to endow me I give and dispose of as followeth All my Just
debts being paid and ffunerall Expences discharged I give and bequeath
unto my deare and loveing brother Thomas Wood the Lease of my house in
thaforesaid Parish of St Maries which I hold from ffrancis Gregory Dr of
Divinity Now of Hambleton in the County of Berks Together with all my
Money & goods and Chattells of what nature Kind or Condic'on whatsoever
In Witnes Whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale The day and yeare
